Meet the people behind Xeround’s cloud database solution, which offers seamless scalability and high availability for MySQL apps in the cloud – all part of one simple database-as-a-service (DBaaS).
Razi Sharir CEO
Razi has more than 20 years of management experience in product/solution development from concept to release in various disciplines. Razi brings to Xeround expertise in visionary and strategic marketing as well as in driving products to market from positioning through go-to-market and delivery.
Prior to joining Xeround, Razi led the strategic transition from traditional data centers to cloud computing at BMC Software; a leading provider of data center & IT management solutions encompassing BSM.
Prior to that, Razi led the Incubator/ Innovation Lab business unit. Prior to BMC, Razi held senior positions as VP of R&D at Commtouch Technology (at the time amongst the largest web mail providers), Senior Director of Product Management/Marketing at Starhome – a worldwide leader of VAS for mobile roaming users, and approximately 8 years in various roles at Microsoft in Redmond, WA and later in Israel.
Razi holds an M.A. (cum laude) from the Tel Aviv University in Philosophy of Information and Digital Culture, an MBA in Marketing and a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
Oded Zaltsman CFO
Oded brings more than 13 years of financial and accounting experience to Xeround, especially in the implementation of processes and methodologies needed to shift a start-up organization to a well-established, global and optimized operational environment.
Oded joined Xeround from Infineon Technologies, a leader in the semiconductor industry with annual turnover of 8 billion Euros and 43,000 employees worldwide, where he was director of finance and operations.
In this position, Oded managed all operations and administration departments for the company’s subsidiary Savan, including finance, HR, administration, logistics, purchasing and IT. Prior to Infineon, Oded was a senior manager at an accounting firm.
Oded is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He holds an Executive MBA in Business Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Avi Vigder VP of Engineering
Avi brings to Xeround a depth of experience in software development and technology, with over 10 years of experience in distributed architectures and network communication in complex high performance systems.
Prior to Xeround Avi has been in Aeroscout delivering Real Time Location System for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices and cutting edge mobile asset tracking.
Avi holds a BSc in computer science cum laude and business management cum laude from the Tel-Aviv University.
Yinon Eliaz AVP Business Development
Yinon brings over 17 years of experience with introducing innovative technologies to customers and partners in several markets and disciplines. Prior to joining Xeround, Yinon led the Business Development and Sales for strategic accounts at Nimbula, which was founded by the team who brought Amazon’s EC2 to the world.
Before that, Yinon was VP of Strategic Accounts at Netformx, Consulting Director at Amdocs, Director of Field Operations at XACCT and several field leadership roles with Indigo (acquired by HP) in Japan, Singapore and Israel.
Yinon holds Associate Engineer degree in Electronics and Computer Science and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science from Mercy College, NY.
Itamar Haber AVP Product Marketing and Evangelism
Itamar is a startup veteran, a database maven and an advocate for users. He has been with Xeround since 2006 and has held various product management, professional services, and operations roles. Prior to joining Xeround, Itamar had varied experience as a programmer, DBA and projects management at Etagon, Amicada and M.N.S.
Itamar has a proven track record managing and commercial engagements with customers and supporting solutions’ implementations and integrations. Itamar holds a joint Kellogg-Recanati Executive MBA and a B.Sc in Computer Science.
Hamutal Mazor Director of Products
Hamutal brings to Xeround a depth of experience in various roles of product management and software development.
Prior to joining Xeround, Hamutal held various software development and product management leadership positions at BMC Software, at Identity Management Business Unit; 888 Holdings, a leader in the Online gaming industry;
ITU, a startup developing virtual campus & interactive classes on the Internet; Ness Technologies, a leading technology services provider and more.
Hamutal is a MAMRAM graduate and holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bar Ilan University.
Avigail Ofer Director of Marketing
Avigail brings 10 years of marketing, product and web experience, in both B2B and B2C business, focusing on web acquisition and lead qualification for products aimed at the developers community.
Prior to joining Xeround, Avigail led E-Marketing and Marketing Automation for Zend – the PHP Company; managed online marketing at Kontera, a leading semantic advertising network;
and held several product management and marketing positions for Walla! (the Israeli Yahoo!), and the Israeli satellite television company.
Avigail holds a BA with Honors from Tel-Aviv University in Communications and Sociology; and a diploma in web development.
