Blue Saki Online Chooses Xeround for Zero-Management
High Availability Database Solution in the Cloud
Blue Saki Online is a technology service company founded by prior IT executives at General Electric, American Express, Vanguard and HRH. Blue Saki Online provides application development and scalable IT solutions focused on optimizing business operations and effectively contributing to the bottom-line.
AMANDA is a subscription-based video marketing platform tailored to the needs of the financial, insurance and healthcare industries. AMANDA combines the features of email marketing, YouTube, social media, blackberry messenger reporting and CRM to create a powerful and effective video marketing tool for agents, representatives and consultants in the service industry.
Blue Saki Online was commissioned to migrate AMANDA’s video marketing application from a traditional data center (ISP) with a dedicated server to the cloud.
The migration was aimed at:
- Ensuring high availability with 99.99% uptime guarantee
- Ensuring fully-managed self-monitoring environment with 24/7 support
- Minimizing in-house management resources and operational costs
The decision was made to migrate the application by integrating only cloud services - among them chosen Xeround’s database-as-a-service.
By examining the case of an application designed and developed end-to-end using only cloud-based services – we can see how the cloud helps developers cut down on development and operational costs, enable faster time-to-deployment and improve reliability for mission-critical applications.
